SiFu Alan Paterson
SiFu Alan Paterson is the Head UK Instructor for Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA, overseeing the growth and development of multiple schools across the UK. His martial arts journey began at just 9 years old with Judo and Jiu-Jitsu before discovering Wing Chun Kung Fu in 1998.
Training under some of the most respected Wing Chun masters, SiFu Alan refined his skills in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, and London. He earned his 6th Technician Grade under Grand Master Sergio Iadarola at the Eternal Spring Institute in Madeira in 2023.
SiFu Alan is not only a highly skilled martial artist but also a respected instructor, dedicated to helping students build confidence, discipline, and practical self-defence skills. He also works with close protection professionals and the Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
